"Table Time" is a fast, happy rock tune that is written for most high school jazz bands. The title "Table Time" comes from my kids' arts and crafts time at the kitchen table. I just began singing this tune while my kids were getting out the crayons, aper, glue, etc. The solos are for trombone and alto sax. The section may be opened up to include a piano or guitar solo, and there are lots of spaces for a great trap set player to fill in. This tune has lots of energy and could be a great opener for any jazz concert. |
