Skyline Bossa by Brian Rhodes

Grade Level - 2.5

"Skyline Bossa" is a tune I wrote around 10 years ago. I first devised a chord structure that I found pretty cool sounding, then wrote a pretty melody over it. This is the opposite of how I compose now, where I usually come up with the melody, then the chords. This arrangement is fairly easy, for the rhythms and ranges are designed with the high school jazz player in mind. The solo instruments include the first trombone and first sax. Auxiliary percussion is also encouraged for this hip latin arrangement.

Range: (C1=Middle C)
Trpt. A2, Tbn. F1

Piano: RH - Voicings, LH - Chord Chart
Bass: Written out with chord changes provided.
