Dakashuffle by Brian Rhodes

Grade Level - 3.5

The working title for "Dakashuffle" was "Dark Shuffle." Shuffle tunes are usually happy sounding, in a major key with a touch of blusey attitude. This shuffle is in a minor key and rather dark sounding, with some pretty weird chord progressions. The solo changes are in the first tenor sax and bari sax, but may be opened up to any sax or any member of the rhythm section.

Instrumentation: 5,4,4,4
Range: (C1=Middle C)
Trpt. D3, Tbn. G1

Piano: RH - Voicings, LH - Chord Chart
Bass: Written out with chord changes provided.
Style: Up Shuffle
