Seminar (for solo trombone and concert band) was commissioned by the Four States Band Masters Association in honor of Jerry Lovall of Texarkana for all that he has done for the musicians, students, and band directors of the Texarkana area. Based on Star Dust, Seminar captures the sweetness of tone and the liveliness of character possible from an accomplished trombone performer. |
